<p>Dr. Abdelmounem E. Abdo is the founding Director of the National Center for Gastroenterology and Liver Diseases and the WGO Khartoum Training Center. His leadership has been instrumental in establishing Sudan's first liver transplant program and building resilient healthcare services across the country, including successful relocations during the 2023-2024 crisis.</p>
