The year 2024 was a milestone for scientific research at the National Center for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases, where we achieved remarkable accomplishments:
✅ Published 8 scientific articles in prestigious international journals.
✅ Presented 11 studies at high-level international conferences.
✅ Supervised 20 PhD theses prepared for publication.
✅ Launched 6 new research projects aimed at advancing medical knowledge.
✅ Established an electronic database to monitor and evaluate patients undergoing biliary endoscopy and those with viral hepatitis.
Despite the challenges we faced 🚧, such as limited access to research tools and scientific resources, we overcame them through:
✔ Collaboration with international research institutions.
✔ Improving access mechanisms to scientific resources.
