A Meeting Between the Administration of the National Center for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases and the National Health Insurance Fund in Support of Developing Services at Al-Jazirah Center for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Laparoscopic Surgery
The Director of the National Center for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases, accompanied by Dr. Salah Dafallah (Consultant Gastroenterologist and Head of the Gastrointestinal Bleeding Emergency Unit at Al-Jazirah Center for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Laparoscopic Surgery), met with Dr. Abdelazim Abdelrahman, Executive Director of the National Health Insurance Fund, and Mr. Al-Amin Hussein, Director General of Universal Health Coverage and International Relations in Al-Jazirah State.
During the meeting, the Center’s delegation expressed their sincere appreciation to the Health Insurance Administration for its valued support and effective contribution to implementing the Center’s plans to operate the gastrointestinal bleeding emergency unit and to activate inpatient admission and surgical services at the Center.
For its part, the National Health Insurance Fund affirmed its full commitment to localizing specialized medical services within Sudan, commending the role of the National Center for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases in resuming and delivering specialized medical services immediately after the liberation of Al-Jazirah State, and praising the great efforts exerted by the Center’s staff.
The Health Insurance delegation also expressed its admiration for the outstanding infrastructure of Al-Jazirah Center for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and Laparoscopic Surgery, reaffirming the Fund’s continued support to strengthen operations and expand the range of services provided to citizens.
