As part of regional health cooperation and the strengthening of medical knowledge exchange, a professional visit was conducted to Muhimbili Mloganzila Hospital, the modern and advanced extension of Muhimbili National Hospital, located outside Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
The hospital stands as a prominent medical landmark, reflecting the significant progress achieved in specialized healthcare services in the country. The visit included a tour of the ground and first floors, where a high level of organization in clinical services and patient care was observed. It also covered the advanced surgical complex, which comprises 10 fully equipped operating theaters serving various surgical specialties.
This visit highlights Tanzania’s substantial investment in modernizing its healthcare infrastructure and its commitment to expanding access to high-quality medical services. It also demonstrated the strong professionalism of the healthcare workforce and the clear strategic vision behind the design and objectives of this medical facility.
The visit aimed to strengthen medical collaboration between Sudan and Tanzania, and to open new horizons for future partnerships in training, gastroenterology and hepatology, and interventional endoscopy, contributing to the advancement of specialized healthcare and medical education across the African continent.
