As part of efforts to raise awareness and strengthen healthcare services, the Department of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Endoscopy at Kassala Teaching Hospital participated in delivering the Clinical Meeting held on Thursday, July 3, 2025. The session addressed an important topic titled:
“Approaches to the Treatment and Care of Patients with Viral Hepatitis According to the Latest International Guidelines.”
During the meeting, the latest internationally approved recommendations and medical protocols for the diagnosis and management of viral hepatitis were reviewed, with emphasis on the importance of early detection, regular follow-up, and the use of effective therapies that contribute to improving patients’ quality of life and reducing complications.
This participation comes as an awareness initiative during the month of July, which concludes with World Hepatitis Day on July 28, an important opportunity to unify efforts toward a world free of hepatitis.
