By the grace of God and through collective efforts, the National Center for Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases successfully concluded the ERCP (Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography) and Advanced Esophageal Stent Workshop, held at the Central Police Hospital in Port Sudan from February 18 to 20, 2025.

Intensive Hands-On Training: Conducted guided clinical cases using the latest technologies under the direct supervision of a distinguished team of experts.

Advanced Scientific Sessions: Discussed the latest global protocols in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases.

Simulation-Based Training: Utilized locally-made training models as alternatives to the training models from the WGO Khartoum Training Center.
โ
Wide Participation: 17 consultants in internal medicine and gastrointestinal surgery from 8 Sudanese states and 10 cities attended, highlighting the importance of decentralized medical training.
