El Fasher, November 21, 2023 - The Ultrasound Workshop in North Darfur State commenced today in collaboration with the National Health Insurance Fund and the World Organization of Ultrasound.
The workshop will span three days, hosting 40 doctors from various specialties including surgeons, internists, obstetricians and gynecologists, pediatricians, orthopedists, and emergency medicine practitioners.
This workshop aims to train doctors in utilizing ultrasound for both diagnosis and treatment. Topics covered during the workshop include:
- Fundamentals of Ultrasound
- Ultrasound Applications in Diagnosis
- Ultrasound Applications in Treatment
The workshop is being held at El Fasher Teaching Hospital.
