The conference brought together leading liver disease specialists from around the world, providing an ideal platform for scientific exchange, research collaboration, and the promotion of Sudanese expertise in both African and global academic arenas.
The National Center extends sincere thanks and appreciation to the supporters who made this successful participation possible:
The Federal Ministry of Health for encouraging the research delegation and covering visa and living expenses.

This support serves as motivation and an encouragement for young researchers and recent graduates. Over the past two years, the Scientific Research Office has published at least 20 scientific papers in internationally recognized journals and participated in more than 40 research presentations at prestigious international conferences.
The Center also extends deep gratitude to the SOLDA team and conference organizers, particularly Professor Wendy Spearman and Magda Sevlido, for their outstanding organizational efforts, providing a high-level scientific platform to enhance collaboration and knowledge exchange. Special thanks are extended to Professor Adwoa Agyei-Nkansah for her invaluable support in facilitating visa procedures for the team, which was crucial in ensuring the delegation’s successful participation.
This participation represents a strong encouragement for young researchers, a reinforcement of a scientific research culture, and a continuation of the Center’s mission to empower the new generation of Sudanese researchers as ambassadors of science and innovation in all forums.
This achievement marks a significant step in advancing scientific research in Sudan and underscores the commitment of the Center and the Ministry of Health to support national talents, enabling them to compete and excel at international scientific forums.
